Objective; To build out a proprietary search engine and online advertising platform for luxury yachts being sold in the international brokerage market.
Challenge; To build out a display and yacht management system that would outperform well established industry competitors with a superior system and greater lead generation services.
Solution; In order to outperform the current online leaders in yachting, New Media Technology utilized web 2.0 to create a comprehensive proprietary search engine with custom PHP coding. The system could also double as an inventory management system for yacht brokers. The NMT marketing team created a Certified Yacht Broker program to entice reputable brokers with very high end inventory and provided a few name brand brokerages with complimentary advertising to create co branding opportunities and test the system’s success. In addition to the site’s yacht search engine, NMT’s copyrighting professionals created a yachting review section to add unique optimized content to the platform and provide a resource that current competitors were not offering.
